#PotterMonth is coming to an end, so to send it out in style we decided to do what we do best: Drink and talk! Grab a bottle of Firewhiskey and join us as we talk about our houses, what Harry Potter style means, and erotic Harry Potter fanfiction!
We have been playing A LOT of tabletop games lately. It is actually a little insane how often we've been gathering around a table to partake in some good old fashioned board game fun. We figured that since our lives have been full of board games that they should get some air time. Listen in as we geek out about Elder Sign, Catan, and several more of our tabletop favorites.
With the release of Captain America: Civil War and the comic book Captian America: Steve Rogers, there has been A LOT of conversation surrounding the beloved Marvel superhero. We are, of course, jumping in with our 2 cents. Listen in as we talk about the latest Captain America film, fangirl over Steve Rogers, and debate about the future of Captain America after the recent comic book shake-up. Be sure to join in the conversation on Twitter (@TheTipsyVerse) or on Facebook. Also, if you like what you hear please let us a review on iTunes!
It's here! The final episode of our Adventures at Fan Expo Dallas 2016 has finally arrived. We fully admit that we saved our favorite for last. That's right, we are talking about the Peter Capaldi Q&A session that we attended and doing a fair amount (read A LOT) of fangirling over Doctor Who. Be sure to join in the conversation on Twitter @TheTipsyVerse or on Facebook. Also, if you like what you hear please leave us a review on iTunes!
Annnd, we're back talking about more of our adventures at Dallas Fan Expo 2016! This episode is dedicated almost exclusively to the Q&A we attended with comic book legends Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello.
Whereas our last episode might have been our least tipsy episode, this one is definitely our most tipsy. Since I know you've been dying to know what happens when you don't eat enough, kill several bottles of wine, and then record upwards of 4 podcasts, I decided to go ahead and post this episode that is just flat out full of too much wine!
Arguably our least tipsy Podcast, Katie and I take on all those people who leave such crazy reviews on Amazon. That's right, we are basically reviewing reviews, because that's necessary. We may also (which means we definitely) get on a bit of a soapbox about internet etiquette. One thing is for sure, if you've been wanting to review our podcast, this may be the episode that inspires you to hit that review button on iTunes.
Here it is folks, the podcast we've talked more about than anything else. This is Podception and my eternal quest to use meta correctly. This is our podcast about podcasts. Specifically, it is about the podcasts we love that are part of the McElroy family of podcasts. Let us know what you think and what your favorite podcasts are!
Oh hey, it's Monday. Yeah, we used to post on Thursdays but because we are adding a new podcast soon call As If: A 90s Fancast we decided to move TipsyCast to Mondays. Have you ever wanted to listen to a podcast where a couple of millennials talk about millennial / #FirstWorldProblems? Yeah, me neither, but that's exactly what this episode is! We tackle some tough questions, like what coffee pot should I buy? What is the deal with self-help books? and my favorite, Did we really just talk about these #FirstWorldProblems for 25 minutes? We hope you enjoy!
